Virginia L "Babe" Wright, age 69, of Miami, FL was born on April 4, 1944 in Barnwell, SC to the late Willie Bradley and Albirda Stephens Rouse. Our Heavenly Father saw fit to call her from labor to reward on March 21, 2014.
She was a member at New Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Miami, FL. While at the church she was a deaconess and member of the Usher Board #1, Mission Department and Senior Saints. She was involved with the Alcola Lake Park Walking and Prayer Group.
She attended and graduated from the Allendale Training School in Allendale, SC and furthered her education at Dade County Community College in Miami, FL. She worked as an accountant.
She was married to Deacon Charles Wright for 23 years.
She is preceded in death by one daughter-in-law, Gwen Wright and one brother, Lorenza David Rouse.
She leaves to cherish her memories, husband: Deacon Charles Wright; three children: Timothy Wright of Orlando, FL, Charles Wright II of New Smyrna, FL, and Gladys (Rod) Wright Johnson of Orlando, FL; four siblings: Earnest (Barbara) Rouse, Welhelmenia Rouse, Dixie Brooker, and Angela Youmans, all of Allendale, SC; three sisters-in-law: Euree (Pierre) Clyburn, Lawrene (Johnny) Barnes, and Henri Jean Champion, all of Lancaster, SC; one aunt: Bessie Dunbar of Niagara Falls, NY; one uncle: Johnny R. Rouse of Aiken, SC; three grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and sympathizing friends.
