Jannie Buxton Foster age 67, of Barnwell, SC., formerly of Allendale, SC, was born on July 8, 1947 in Beaufort, SC to the late JP Priester and Jannie Lue Johnson Priester. Our Heavenly Father saw fit to call her from labor to reward on July 19, 2014 the University Hospital in Augusta, GA.
At an early age, she joined and was baptized at the St. Mark Baptist Church in Allendale, SC. She was a member of the Usher Board, Missionary Society, and President of the Building Fund Committee.
She graduated from the public school system in Allendale, SC, and worked as a seamstress for many years.
She was married to Ferris L. Foster for 28 years.
She is preceded in death by two sisters.
Cherishing her beautiful memories are a loving and devoted husband, Ferris L. Foster of Barnwell, SC; one daughter, Verna Jean Buxton of Greenville, SC; one son, Danny Cortez Buxton of Charlotte, NC; mother, Jannie Lue Priester of Allendale, SC; one sister, Georgia Ann (Bishop Tommie Lee) Doe of Allendale, SC; one brother in law, Arthur Lee Murdaugh of Augusta, GA; four aunts; three uncles; six (6) grandchildren, one of the home, Rev. James R. Gill, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, other relatives, and sympathizing friends.
