Isiah Riley, age 75, of Allendale, SC, was born on April 6, 1939 to the late Charlie Riley and the late Charity Major Riley. Our Heavenly Father saw fit to call him from labor to reward on August 14, 2014 at the Southern Palmetto Hospital in Barnwell, SC.
At an early age, he joined and was baptized at the Mt. Hope Baptist Church in Martin, SC where he sang on the choir and was a faithful member.
He owned and operated Riley’s Forest Products for over 20 years.
He was married to the late Gracie Mae Riley for 39 years before the Lord called her home.
Seven aunts and one uncle precede him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memories, one son, Isaac (Christina) Riley of Allendale, SC; four daughters, Vivian Riley (Landuray) Newton of Fairfax, SC, Tondarlair (Troy) Booker of Augusta, GA, Krystal (Shawn) Allen of Jackson, SC, and Barbara Smoaks of Graniteville, SC; four brothers, Sammie Riley of Williston, SC, Charles (Mary) Riley of Miami, FL, Ned Riley of Orangeburg, SC, and Eugene Riley of Allendale, SC; two sisters, Lerlean (Malvin) Coleman, and Esther (Bennie) Manuel of Fairfax, SC; one brother in law, Lee (Gloria) Harden of Allendale, SC; one sister in law, Beulah (Jerome) Lawton of Allendale, SC; one uncle, Frank (Daisy) Major of Winter Haven, FL; seventeen grandchildren; one reared in the home, Christina Bianca (Alonzo) Anderson; two great grandchildren; a loving and devoted friend, Eloyse “Peggy” Nix of Barnwell, SC, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and sympathizing friends.
