Perstine Edwards Riley, III, aka, “Perk” age 50, of Allendale, South Carolina, was born on December 13, 1964 in Bamberg, South Carolina to Perstine Riley, Jr. and Linda Edwards.  Our Heavenly Father called him from labor to reward on March 14, 2015 at the Allendale County Hospital in Fairfax, South Carolina.

At an early age, he joined and was baptized at the Central Baptist Church in Denmark, South Carolina, and after moving to Allendale, he attended the Macedonia CME church with his wife.

He graduated from the Denmark Olar High School in Denmark, South Carolina, and later moved to Allendale, South Carolina, where he worked at Cullum Lumber Company for over 19 years as a Fork Lift Operator. 

“Perk”, as he was affectionately called by his family and friends, will be best remembered for the love he had for his family, friends, cooking, and the Dallas Cowboys.

He was married to the love of his life, Kimbley G. Riley for over 15 years.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Magnolia Thomas, and one aunt, Alice Edwards.

He leaves to cherish his memory, a loving and devoted wife, Kimbley G. Riley, Allendale, SC; four sons, Brandon Scott, Williston, SC, Javon and Kwayna Parker, Allendale, SC, and Nathaniel Gallant, Chesapeke, VA; one grandchild; mother, Linda E. (Elder Louis) Brown, Denmark, SC, father, Perstine Riley, Jr., Williston, SC, stepmother, Beatrice Williams, Williston, SC, four brothers,  Jimmy Riley, Santee, SC, Lamont Riley, Columbia, SC, Keith Moody, Cope, SC, and Rashane Williams, Williston, SC;  three sisters, Kimberly (Denzor) Richberg, Ashburn, VA, Brittany Brown, Richmond, VA, and Caterina Williams, Williston, SC; two stepsisters, Shelanda Brown, Williston, SC, and Angela Cummings, Columbia, SC; Mother in law, Madeline Holmes, Allendale, SC; four aunts, Susanne Edwards, Ertha Mae Seymore, and Ella Mae Hill, Denmark, SC, and Judy Edwards, Yonkers, NY; one sister in law, Sonia Riley, Richmond, VA; four godchildren, Renada Holmes, and Devontay Moore, Allendale, SC, Katrina Graham-Faulkner, Barnwell, SC, and Lakeiba Davis, Aiken, SC, seven special friends, Michael Priester, Harold Young, Thonea Grant, Marion Grant, Gloria Cohen, and  Alisha Fitts Aiken, Allendale, SC, and Lillian Milligan, Williston, SC, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and sympathizing friends.

Visitation will be, Thursday, March 19, 2015 at the B. F. Cave Funeral Chapel in Allendale, SC from 1-7 PM. 

Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM Friday, March 20, 2015, at the Macedonia CME Church in Allendale, South Carolina, with Pastor Anthony Moore Officiating. Burial will follow in the Bamberg Memorial Gardens in Bamberg, SC.   

Family will receive friends at the home, located at 3197 Concord Church Road, Appleton, SC.
