Frank Bernard Hansberry, III age 53, of Allendale, SC was born on May 03, 1961 in Allendale, SC to Jerlise F. Hanberry, and the late Deacon Frank Hanberry, Jr. Our Heavenly Father called him from labor to reward on March 21, 2015 at Pruitt Health in North Augusta, SC.

At an early age, he sought God’s direction and guidance, and joined the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Ulmer, SC, where he served as a junior usher. 

Bernard graduated from the Allendale Fairfax High School in Allendale, SC. He served his country as a soldier in the US Navy, and received an honorable discharge.  He worked as a Re-Employment Services Coordinator at Work Force Central Florida, East Orange Office, in Orlando, FL for many years.

He is preceded in death by his father: Deacon Frank Hanberry, Jr; brother: Eric Hanberry; and brother-in-law: Rickie T Bradley.

He leaves to cherish his fond memory, one daughter: Brittany (Brian) George of Abbeville, AL; one son: Idris Hansberry of Dallas, GA; a loving and devoted mother: Jerlise Hanberry of Allendale, SC; three sisters: Shirley A. Bradley of Fuquay Varina, NC, Sylvia T. Hanberry and Katina L. (George) Harvin of Aiken, SC; three brothers: Deacon Daniel (Katherine) Hanberry of Suwanee, GA, Lesly L. Hanberry of Allendale, SC, and Tyron (Sarena) Hanberry of Little Elms, TX, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and sympathizing friends.

I am so sorry for your loss. Psalms 146:5 read: Happy is the one who has the God of Jacob as his helper. Whose hope is in his God. Please go to him and taste and see that he is willing and able to give you and your family the needed strength and comfort to continue on in any circumstance that may arise. Please find some help in this fact in your difficult days ahead.

I love you Frank. I will miss you. Such a fun loving and gentle spirit. My prayers to your dear mother, sisters and brothers. I pray God will strengthen your children as the days grow into weeks, months and years. Rest in peace my friend.

September, labor day 1979... frank and another a/f grad and I entered the military. frank navy, young lady air force and I went In the army. I never saw frank again in person but follower his military travel by research. it do touch me deeply to know he has went home to be with the Lord. To the family: the blessing of God be with you always. Shalom
