Mrs. Barbara Ann Jones Saxon, age 57 of Blackville, South Carolina, was born on August 7, 1957 to the late James Jones, Sr. and the late Annie Donaldson Jones.  Our Heavenly Father called her from labor to reward on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

At an early age, she sought God’s direction and guidance, and joined the Greater Sweet Branch Baptist Church in Govan, South Carolina, where she served on the Usher Board, and in the Mass Choir. She graduated from the Blackville Hilda High School in Blackville, South Carolina, and was employed at Husqvarna in Orangeburg, SC.

She was married to Ernest Saxon, Sr. and in this union they were blessed with two sons.

Three sisters, Annie Lee Raysor, Mary Lee Thomas, and Queenie Stukes, and three brothers, James Jones, Jr., William Donaldson, and Robert Lee Jones preceded her in death.

Barbara leaves to cherish her fond memory: husband, Ernest Saxon, Sr., Hephzibah Georgia; two sons, Ernest Saxon, Jr. (Melisha Frazier), Barnwell, SC, and Adrian Saxon, Blackville, SC; three grandchildren, Maurice Saxon, and Ma’Kayla Saxon, Barnwell, SC, and Adrian Saxon, Jr., Blackville, SC; one brother, Eugene (Lorraine) Jones, Abbeville, SC; two sisters in law, Janie Jones, and  Patricia Saxon, Blackville, SC; one brother in law, Rudolph (Michelle) Saxon, Hilda, SC; one aunt, Margaret Gadsden, Blackville, SC, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and sympathizing friends.
