Mr. Otis Washington was born on March 26, 1935, in Allendale County, SC to the late David Washington, and the late Maggie Garvin Washington.  He left this life of labor on Friday, July 10, 2015 at 13:50 PM at the age of 80.

Otis, gave himself to the Lord and became a member of the New Mt. Zion Baptist Church, and was later baptized.  He loved the Lord, family, and friends, and he will be greatly missed.

In his early years, Otis was educated in the public schools of Allendale, South Carolina, and graduated from the Allendale Training School.  Otis served two years in the United States Army.  He later went to work and retired as a Machinist.

Leaving to cherish his memory is a loving and devoted wife, Julia Washington of Orangeburg, SC; two daughters, Angela Mcintosh of Atlanta, GA, and Mildred Crepsy of Douglasville, GA; one son, Tyrone Washington of Alabama; one stepdaughter, Sheryl Newton of Fairfax, SC; one stepson, Ryan (Jamesena) Patterson of Spartanburg, SC; four grandchildren; ten step grandchildren; one brother, Cleveland (Mary) Washington of Barnwell, SC; two sisters in law,  Birda Marshall of Reading, PA, and Clara Deloach of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; one brother in law, Joe Youmans of Allendale, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and sympathizing friends.
