Radesha R. Flowers, aka, “Monk” age 39, of Allendale, South Carolina, was born on August 17, 1976 in Allendale, South Carolina to Marion Albany, Jr., and the late Cathy Flowers. Our Heavenly Father called her from labor to reward on September 5, 2015 at the Georgia Regents Medical Center in Augusta, GA.
At an early age, she sought God’s direction and guidance, and joined the Macedonia CME Church in Allendale, South Carolina.
She graduated from the Allendale Fairfax High School in Allendale, South Carolina, and later went to work for Always There in Barnwell, SC, in Home Health Care.
“Monk”, as she was affectionately called by her family and friends, will be remembered for the love she had for her family and friends.
Her mother, Cathy Flowers, stepfather, Wilmort Fields, maternal grandfather, Charles Brant, paternal grandparents, Marion and Martha Albany, Sr., great grandmother, Secola Frazier, two special aunts, Beatrice Myers, and Gloria Williams, and two special cousins, raised in the home, Michael Williams, and Laquinton Hunter, preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish his memory, one son, Dwain Dean, Jr. of Allendale, SC; two daughters, Shonkeaveus McKnight, and Qui’Yana Elmore of Allendale, SC; two grandchildren, Bra’Lynn Buckmon, and unborn baby Dean; four brothers, Major Flowers, Derrice Fields, and Quillie (Gwen) Ferguson all of Allendale, SC, and Kendrell Fields of Raleigh, NC; one sister, Latosha Myers of Fayetteville, NC; maternal grandmother, Janie Flowers of Allendale, SC; nine aunts, Sharlene Flowers, Richardine Williams, Pearlie Mae (Warren) Jackson, Diane Allen, Lorrine Jordan, Patricia Albany, and Gloria Robertson all of Allendale, SC, Tonia Russell of Spartanburg, SC, and Pricilla Brodus of Martin, SC; two special aunts, Bernice Graham, and Edith Bates of Allendale, SC; eight uncles, Richard Williams, Johnnie (Elise) Flowers, Lennis (Elizabeth) Flowers, Leo (Mary) Williams, Willie (Rebecca) Frazier, Frank (Carrol) Smith, Willie Smith, and Ernestine “Butch” Myers all of Allendale, SC; godmother, Blossie Williams of Allendale, SC; two godchildren, Jasmine and Aubreyonna of Allendale, SC; one nephew, Kha’Maijae Flowers; seventeen special cousins, Maurice Williams of Hampton, VA, Niki Williams of Columbia, SC, Pamela (Issac) Doe of Aiken, SC, Dimaggio, Shakeatra, Deatrice, and Jaycolby Williams, Theresa, Linette, Rosalind, Ruthann, Tiffany J, Theresa A, Kim H, Taquon B, Lennel E. and Jacob H. all of Allendale, SC; three special friends, Tamara Gillyard of Barnwell, SC, Nakeisha Moore of Columbia, SC, and Jerrell Myers of Allendale, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and sympathizing friends.
