I would like to express my deepest sympathy in the loss of your beloved family member. When a loved one dies, it causes so much pain and sorrow. Because our loving God Jehovah created humans to live and not to die, he understands the deep emotional pain death causes. But we are not left alone to cope with our grief and sadness. Jehovah God gives us comfort from his word the Bible. Scriptures that can comfort us are found at Psalm 34:18 which says: “Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit”. He has also promise at Revelation 21:3,4 that sickness and death will be removed and our loved ones will have the prospect of living on a paradise earth in perfect health by means of the resurrection (John 5:28,29). We can put our trust in these promises because at Titus 1:2 it says that “God cannot lie”.
