Mr. Kelvin Ritter, aka “Barber Shop” age 53 was born on August 02, 1963, to Sara L. Doe, and the late Willie Peeples, Jr.

At an early age seeking God’s direction and guidance, he joined the St. Mark Baptist Church in Allendale, SC. 

Kelvin received his education in the public-school system of Allendale, SC.  He loved cutting hair and worked as a Barber.

Kelvin was a loving and kind person and will be remembered for the love he had for his family, and friends. 

Besides his father and grandparents, he is preceded in death by one son, Shavel Pickney.

Our Heavenly Father saw fit to call him from labor to reward on June 3, 2017, at the Allendale County Hospital in Fairfax, SC.

He leaves to cherish his memory, one son, Damien Ritter of Estill, SC; a loving and devoted mother, Sara Doe of Allendale, SC; six sisters, Roxanne (Tyrone) Bradley of Barnwell, SC, Michelle (Rodney) Jackson of  Orlando, FL, Sabrina Albany and Jenine (Joshua) Banner of Allendale, SC, Vernee (Sam) Pryor of Charleston, SC, and Coretta Doctor of Newark, NJ; one brother, Eric (Toni) Doctor of Orlando, FL; seven aunts, Amy (Bernard) Huffman, Claretha Ritter, and Vernia Ritter-Rivers of Columbia, SC, Laura (Joe) Owens, and Lavon Gray of Allendale, SC, Eva (Robert) Foster of Jacksonville, FL, and Dianne (James) Colson of Newark, NJ; two uncles, Tommie (Patricia) Ritter of Allendale, SC and Thomas Fitzgerald Ritter of Columbia, SC, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and sympathizing friends.
