Mr. Walter Chappel, age 78 of Barnwell, SC entered eternal rest on Sunday, September 24, 2017, at his home in Barnwell, SC.
The Visitation will be Friday, September 29, 2017, at the Dyches Funeral Home in Barnwell, SC from 4-6 PM.
The Funeral Service will be Saturday, September 30, 2017, 12:00 PM at the Bethany Baptist Church in Blackville, SC with words of comfort by Rev. Reginald Mixon. The burial will follow in the Hope Memorial Gardens in Barnwell, SC.
The family will receive friends at the home, located at 9955 Marlboro Ave in Barnwell, SC.

It is not easy, but it is important to me to reach out to you with love pray and support. Our/My words cannot take away the pain of losing Walter Chappel and kind and loving friend. I prayed that even though I cannot be with you in the Homegoing Celebration for our friend/brother Walter, I/we will be thinking of you and praying for you.
