My condolences to the Phoenix family. Losing a loved one in death is so very painful. Our loving heavenly father feels the pain that you have because death was not a part of his original purpose for mankind (Ecclesiastes 3:11). However, he provides comfort from his word the Bible to help cope with your loss. Psalm 34:18 says; Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit. And the wonderful promise for the future at Hosea 13:14;From the power of the Grave I (God) will redeem them; From death I will recover them. These are promises that you can put your trust in because Jehovah always keeps his word (Isaiah 55:11).
