Seeking God’s direction and guidance, he joined and was baptized at the Mt. Hope Baptist Church in Martin, SC where he sang in the Gospel Choir.

Lonnie was a 1985 graduate from the AF High School in Allendale, SC. He worked at SCE&G in Cope, SC as a Material Handler for 19 years.

"Junior” as he was affectionately known, was a loving and kind person, and will be remembered for the love he had for his family, friends, and the Dallas Cowboys.  He was an outdoorsman who loved, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He was a faithful member of Dunbarton Lodge 371 in Barnwell, SC, and a volunteer Fireman with the Martin Fire Department for many years.

He was married to the love of his life, Janice Daniels for 23 years.

Besides his parents and grandparents, two sisters, Geneva and Sharon Daniels, and one brother, Gerald Addison precede him in death.

On Wednesday, November 30, 2016, our Heavenly Father called him from labor to reward at the University Hospital in Augusta, GA.

Lonnie leaves to cherish his memory, a loving and devoted wife, Janice Daniels of Martin, SC,  two daughters, Janice Daniels of Martin, SC, and Brittany C. My condolences in the loss of your beloved family member. The sting of death hurts so much that it may feel as though the strength to cope disappears. Our heavenly father, Jehovah is always there to comfort us during this difficult time. The psalmist at Psalm 94:19 found this to be true, and it can be yours as well. It says:" When anxieties overwhelmed me. You comforted and soothed me". And the promise at Jeremiah 31:13b “I will change their mourning into exultation. I will comfort them and give them joy instead of their grief.” May these scriptures comfort you at this time of bereavement.
