Mrs. Azzie Lee Campfield Doe, age 80 was born on February 13, 1937, to the late Susie Brown Campfield and the late Ezekiel Campfield.

At an early age seeking God’s direction and guidance, she joined the Zion Hill Baptist Church in Martin, SC where she attended faithfully

Azzie received her education at the CV Bing School in Allendale, SC.  She worked at Sara Lee Sock Plant in Barnwell, SC and Lobster House in Allendale, SC.                                                           

“Azzie” was a loving and kind person and will be remembered for the love she had for her family, and friends. 

She was married to the late Joe Doe, Jr. for over 40 years.

Besides her husband, parents, and grandparents she is preceded in death by two daughters, Margaret Doe Sanders, and Pearlie M. Doe, two sisters, Anna Anderson, and Martha Badger, five brothers, John Campfield, Herbert Campfield, Peter Campfield, Dave Campfield, Sr, and Benjamin Campfield.

Our Heavenly Father saw fit to call her from labor to reward on May 07, 2017, at the Allendale County Hospital in Fairfax, SC.

She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory, one loving and devoted daughter, Annie Campfield of Allendale, SC; two loving sons, Joe Lewis Doe of Rock Hill, SC, and Willie Lee Doe of Allendale, SC; eight grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; one son in law, James Sanders of Allendale, SC; four sisters in law, Henrietta Doe, Rose Mary Doe, and Annie Ruth Doe of Allendale, SC, and Bernice Campfield of Estill, SC; one brother in law, Isakiah (Paula) Doe of Philadelphia, PA; loving companion, Joseph Sanders of Appleton, SC; one special friend, Anthony Young of Rock Hill, SC, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and sympathizing friends.
