Abram D. Elam, Jr., 29
August 18, 1996 – May 18, 2026
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Abram D. Elam, Jr., who left us on May 18, 2026, at Wellstar MCG in Augusta, Georgia. Born in Jupiter, Florida, Abram lived a life marked by dedication, kindness, and a steadfast commitment to his work and family.
A loving son of Abram Elam, Sr. and Crystal Scott, Abram was also a devoted brother to Abraiya Elam and Benjamin Everett. His family was at the center of his heart, and his warm presence will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Abram pursued his education at Queens University in Charlotte, North Carolina, earning a bachelor's degree in business that led him to a fulfilling career as a Foundation Specialist, where he applied his skill, integrity, and care in every project he undertook. His colleagues remember him as a reliable and compassionate professional who left a lasting impact on both his work and the people around him.
A man of character and quiet strength, Abram’s life, though tragically brief, was full of purpose. He cherished his family, nurtured his friendships, and approached each day with determination and hope. His memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate to know him.
The visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Ned Branch Missionary Baptist Church, 10620 Dunbarton Blvd., Barnwell, SC, from 4:30 - 6:30 PM.
Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Ned Branch Missionary Baptist Church in Barnwell, South Carolina, with burial to follow at Hope Memorial Park. Abram will be remembered not only for his accomplishments but for the love, laughter, and light he brought into the lives of all who knew him.
May his soul rest in peace, and may his family and friends find comfort in the enduring legacy of his life.
