Dorothy Paynter, age 90, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at home in Stone Mountain, GA.

A celebration of her life is scheduled for 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at the Ned Branch Missionary Baptist Church, 10620 Dunbarton Blvd., Barnwell, SC 29812.  Burial will follow in the Hope Memorial Park, 1730 Yale Rd., Barnwell, SC 29812.
