Michael Bethea

Mr. Michael Sherell Bethea, age 66, of Allendale, SC, was born on October 15, 1955, to the late Prentice & Georgia Bethea in Brooklyn, NY.

Seeking God’s direction and guidance, he joined the Doe Pond Baptist Church in Martin, SC.

He served his country in the US Marines and worked as a professional Truck Driver for over 30 years.

Michael was a loving and kind person, and he will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.  He enjoyed his grandchildren, life, and helping others.

Michael entered eternal rest on Monday, April 11, 2022, at the Augusta University Hospital in Augusta, GA.

He leaves to cherish his beautiful memory, wife, Vivian Bethea of Beaufort, SC; six Children; numerous grands and great grands; loving friend, Norvia Walker of Allendale, SC, and a host of family, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
