Missionary Virginia Dowling Spellman, age 62, entered eternal rest on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Bamberg-Barnwell Emergency Medical Center in Denmark, SC.

The visitation is scheduled for Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Dyches Funeral Home, 11372 Ellenton St, Barnwell, SC, from 3 - 5 PM.

A celebration of life is scheduled for 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 832 Mt. Zion Road, Blackville, South Carolina 29817. Burial will follow at The Apostolic Faith Church Cemetery,18843 Ehrhardt Road, Govan, South Carolina.

The family will receive friends at the home of her son, Darius J. (Makayla) Spellman, 518 Solomon Price Rd, Barnwell, SC 29812.
