Shirley Ann Doe Banks, age 59, of Allendale, SC, was born on December 7, 1954 to Conway Doe and Bernice Doe.  Our Heavenly Father saw fit to call her from labor to reward on August 20, 2014 at her home in Allendale, SC.

At an early age, she joined and was baptized at the Beulah Baptist Church in Martin, SC, where she served on the usher board.

She graduated from the Allendale Fairfax High School in Allendale, SC.

She was married to Gordon Banks for over 41 years. 

One son, Corey Banks, three brothers, Wayne, Eddie Lee and Anthony J Doe, two uncles, Bill and Herbert Doe, and one aunt, Mattie Lou Williams preceded her in death.  

She leaves to cherish her memories a loving mother of the home, Bernice Doe, father, Conway Doe of Allendale, SC; four sons, Lamont G. Banks of Virginia, Antonio D., Sedrick D., and Courtney Banks of Allendale, SC; grandson reared in the home, Bryan J. Banks of Allendale, SC; one daughter, Crystal R. Banks (Angus) Smith of Barnwell, SC; three brothers, Tracey L. (Melissa) Doe of Sanford, NC, Lorenzo B. Doe (Wilhelmina Myers) of Allendale, SC, and Rex (Edith) Doe of Hampton, SC; two brothers in law, Marshall (Margie) Banks of Barnwell, SC, and Jack Banks, Jr. of Hampton, SC; seven sisters in law, Lisa Doe of Sanford, NC, Rosa (William) Cave, and Mary Banks of Kline, SC, Gertrude (Lavan) Tyler, Williease Carree, Maggie and Flossie Banks all of Barnwell, SC; one uncle, Benjamin Cohen of Beaufort, SC; two aunts, Evelena Priester, and Mary Outing of Allendale, SC; fourteen grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and sympathizing friends.

My prayers are sent to the Doe-Banks family for the recent loss of Mrs. Shirley Ann. Mrs. Peter I know this is a hard time for you and her children to deal with but all will be alright. Keep praying that the Lord will bring you through this and know that your love one is in a better place and she will be forever missed.
